Chex helps merchants create direct checkout links, apply scheduling and usage controls, and review link performance inside Shopify.

Chex stores merchant configuration needed to operate the app, including:

• shop domain
• checkout links created by the merchant
• selected products and variants
• discount settings
• UTM and social share settings
• schedule, usage, and fallback redirect settings

Chex stores event and attribution data needed to measure link performance, including:

• click events and checkout-start events
• order identifiers for attributed orders
• order amount, revenue, and currency
• UTM fields supplied with the link
• device type, city, and country derived from request metadata
• hashed IP address, referrer, and user agent for traffic analysis and abuse control

Chex is not designed to request or store direct personal contact fields such as customer name, email address, phone number, or street address as part of its normal checkout-link and analytics features.

• to create and manage checkout links for merchants
• to apply scheduling and usage rules configured by merchants
• to measure clicks, checkout starts, orders, and revenue attributed to each link
• to operate the app securely and investigate abuse or malfunction

Chex retains merchant configuration and analytics records for as long as they are needed to operate the app, support the merchant, and comply with legal or operational requirements. Merchants can contact support to request account-specific privacy assistance.

Chex uses HTTPS in transit and managed infrastructure services for application hosting and database storage. Access to app data is limited to what is needed to operate, support, and secure the service.
